Dr. Giri is founder and co-chair of the Midwest Human Rights Consortium, a multidisciplinary multi institutional organization that serves as a hub for evaluation referrals and workforce development. She has been a PHR Asylum Network member since 2002. She is a community-based pediatrician and serves on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Immigrant Child and Family Health.
