Area of expertise: Trauma

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board-approved clinical supervisor in Austin, Texas. I hold a master’s degree from Boston College with a concentration in clinical global practice. I have worked domestically and internationally, in crisis and inpatient settings, in outpatient and community settings, with both governmental and non-profit agencies. I have experience counseling adults and families dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, parenting and relationship challenges, life transitions, caregiver stress, severe mental illness, homelessness, immigration concerns, grief and loss, along with many other issues. I am a certified EMDR therapist but I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches and often utilize therapeutic foundations from neurobiology, attachment theory, parts work, re-parenting the inner child, somatic experience, and mindfulness. I've worked with the Center for Survivors of Torture since 2019 working cross-culturally with survivors of torture and human rights abuses, traumatized refugees, and their families.
