Judy I. Eidelson, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and a Founding Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Eidelson is a graduate of Princeton University and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Duke University and a certificate in Global Mental Health Trauma and Recovery from the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma.

Dr. Eidelson has been conducting psychological evaluations of immigrant survivors of human rights abuses and providing expert testimony since 2002. She is the founder and facilitator of the Philadelphia Immigration Evaluators Resource Network, a community of practice for clinicians providing pro bono asylum evaluations. She is an Adjunct Fellow at the Penn Center for Public Health Initiatives and a supervising psychologist for the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Psychology, providing training for graduate students in the psychological evaluation of trauma and torture in immigrants. She has lectured on trauma, credibility, vicarious trauma, and interviewing skills at trainings for attorneys, students, and mental health professionals.
