Aloha! I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. Attended Boston University for my undergraduate education but decided to return to the warm and sunny Hawaii for medical school. During my medical school training, I developed a deeper interest in community and cultural psychiatry - particularly in immigrant and refugee mental health.

I am currently an intern at the Psychiatry Residency Program at Harbor UCLA, gaining more experience and training working with the underserved and minority populations. On my days off I enjoy exploring new hiking trails, yoga and meditation, trying different cultural cuisines, and swimming at the beach.
