I am a Physician Assistant (PA) at The Valley Hospital in New Jersey, and have worked since July 2019 on the Breast Oncology Service as a clinician, and in developing program and performing research for breast surgical oncology. Prior to this, I worked on the Breast Surgery service at Bellevue Hospital, and volunteered with the Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT), where I conducted forensic medical evaluations/scar documentations.

I also work with Physicians for Human Rights as a volunteer, performing physical exams and documenting scars for asylum seekers.

I completed a post graduate PA surgical residency at Montefiore Hospital in 1990, completed a Masters in Science from Long Island University in 1992, and a Masters in Public Health at Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University in 2013.

I have worked as a surgical physician assistant since 1988, and for 34 years have worked in trauma, general surgery and breast surgery. In this capacity I have evaluated and treated individuals with acute, and chronic scars from a variety of etiologies.
