I am a Professor in Family and Community Medicine at USCF and Medical Director of our Human Rights asylum clinic. I also chair our UCSF Health and Human Rights Initiative.

Having done more than 400 asylum evaluations in the US and internationally, my special interest are LGBTQ and GBV, as well as complex torture evaluations.
