Christine is Director of Training and Technical Assistance at the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies. She co-taught and supervised the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic at UC Hastings and refugee legal assistance clinics at the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She served as the Legal Director of Hong Kong Refugee Advice Centre, represented clients at an immigration law firm in San Francisco, and was a Judicial Law Clerk/Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, at the Los Angeles Immigration Court.

Christine received her J.D. from American University and her Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. She is a founding member of the Bay Area Health and Legal Partnership for Immigrant Families (BAHLI) and is involved in various medical/legal collaboratives.
