Audrey Russell-Kibble, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP grew up on the U.S.-Mexico Border, and over the past 20 years has provided culturally respectful caring to the migrants coming to her community.

In the last year, as the humanitarian crisis grew significantly, Dr. Russell-Kibble stepped up her involvement through Casa Alitas, an organization in Tucson, AZ, providing primary care to migrants. At Casa Alitas, Dr. Russell-Kibble precepts DNP (FNP + PNP) students. At The University of Arizona, where she is a recently retired Clinical Assistant Professor from both the College of Nursing and Department of Family & Community Medicine, Dr. Russell-Kibble helped create MILAGROS, an interprofessional course within the UA Health Sciences to introduce students to the issues behind the migration crisis and teach them the essentials of culturally respectful caring.

Fluent in the Spanish language, Dr. Russell-Kibble has experience providing primary care to families in Mexico and Guatemala.
