Practiced emergency medicine 3 decades before retiring in 2003. Have taught and done volunteer work since then. Took PHR's asylum course in 2009 and have been conducting physical evaluations since and have taught in asylum courses in PA and NY. Have done >70 cases to date, plus medical reviews for compassionate release of ICE detainees at risk for COVID-19.
