Alex Norton is an obstetrics and gynecology resident at Duke University. She plans to focus her career on care and advocacy for displaced persons, and she hopes to support asylum seekers as a forensic evaluator. She was involved throughout medical school in efforts to establish an asylum clinic at Johns Hopkins, now the HEAL Refugee Health and Asylum Clinic. She obtained her MPH with a concentration in humanitarian health, and her research has focused on the evidence base for sexual and reproductive health interventions in humanitarian settings.
